Discipleship Process

Discipleship NMC-101: Growing in Messiah

Here at Hope of Israel Congregation, we hold discipleship in high regard. Yeshua commanded us to “go therefore and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). In order to make disciples, one needs to first be discipled. The process of discipleship at HOI is explained on this page.

  • Registration Form: Click on the link below to print form. Please complete the form and return it to a discipleship team member at the information desk.

  • Paired with a Discipler: A team member will email you with the name of your assigned discipler and further information.

DISCIPLESHIP LEADS TO MEMBERSHIP

Completion of NMC-101 Discipleship leads to NMC-201 to NMC-301. If you are interested in continuing after completion of NMC-101, visit this page for more information on our membership process.

Our New Members Class 101 (NMC-101) consists of online video sessions and one-on-one meetings that support the lessons and topics taught in Messianic Discipleship and Messianic Wisdom, both written by Sam Nadler. Along with the videos, participants memorize assigned verses and answer chapter questions before the weekly meeting with an assigned discipler. The duration of NMC-101 is approximately 28 weeks, but can go at the pace of each student.

HOW DO THE BOOKS HELP IN THE PROCESS OF DISCIPLESHIP?

The books help to:

  • Engage the person in the meaningful study of God's Word.

  • Equip the person by providing them the proper tools, to live lives worthy of the calling and to fulfill their God given purpose. (Hebrews 13:21)

  • Exhort the person with the grace and knowledge of Yeshua, to share the Good News and to go make disciples of all nations. (to the Jew first and also to the Gentile)
